Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Silensio is a proposal engagement platform. In this policy “we”, “us”, and “Silensio” refer to the operator of silensio.app. For privacy questions, contact us at hello@silensio.app.

2. What data we collect

We collect only what we need to run the service:

• Account data — email address, full name, company, role, and team size (entered during sign-up and onboarding)
• Proposal content — PDF files you upload, proposal titles and context you add
• Engagement metadata — page view counts and timing data collected when your prospect opens a tracking link (we do not collect their name, IP address, or any identifying information)
• Billing data — managed entirely by Stripe; we store only a Stripe customer ID and subscription ID, never your card details
• Technical logs — standard server logs for security and debugging, retained for up to 30 days

3. How we use your data

• To operate and improve the service
• To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset, billing receipts)
• To calculate engagement states and generate recommendations for your proposals
• To process payments via Stripe

We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it to third parties.

4. Third-party processors

We share data with the following processors only to the extent necessary to run the service:

• Supabase (database and authentication) — data stored in EU region
• Stripe (payment processing) — handles billing data under their own PCI-compliant infrastructure

5. Cookies and tracking

We use a single session cookie set by Supabase to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or any third-party tracking scripts.

6. Data retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your profile, proposals, and all associated engagement data are permanently deleted within 30 days. Billing records are retained by Stripe for their standard period as required by financial regulations.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data via your account settings
• Request deletion of your account and data (also available directly from Settings → Danger Zone)
• Receive a copy of your data in a portable format — email us to request this

8. Security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Authentication is handled by Supabase with bcrypt-hashed passwords. Access to production data is restricted to authorised personnel only.

9. Changes to this policy

We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice before they take effect.
